July 7th Omid Safi – an Associate Professor of Islamic Studies at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he specializes in Sufism. Omid is also one of the co-founders of the Progressive Muslim Union. We will talk about everything from Martin Luther King Jr. to Rumi to what it means to be a ‘progressive Muslim’ to that always welcome subject, love.
